Not so glamorous! Style influencers carry obscene amounts of luggage as they travel the world for Fashion Week shows

  • Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad, Bryan Boy, Eva Chen, and more fashion influencers shared snaps of their airport schleps on Instagram

Traveling around the world for Fashion Month may seem glamorous, but for these bloggers, it requires quite a bit of heavy lifting.

As spring/summer 2016 runway shows take place in New York, London, Milan, fashion writers and street style stars are left with the difficult task of wearing a different, on-point outfit to every show - and fitting them into their luggage.

Now, documenting the ridiculous amount of suitcases one travels with has become quite a trend on Instagram, with Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad, Bryan Boy, Eva Chen, and more fashion influencers sharing snaps of their airport schleps on Instagram.

Chiara, 28, posted a snap of herself sitting on a completely stacked luggage cart as she was traveling from New York Fashion Week to catch the runway shows in Milan on Sunday.

'Europe here I come. Next stop is Milano,' she captioned the shot, which sees her leaning on her huge collection of Louis Vuitton luggage.

The fashion blogger also posted a picture of her departing Los Angeles, where she lives, for New York last week.

In that shot, which earned nearly 90,000 likes, Chiara was seen with only four bags - so it seems she picked up some new clothes while in New York.

Meanwhile, 33-year-old Eva, who left her job as Lucky's editor-in-chief after the magazine folded in June, posted a stack of four huge suitcases next to her baby daughter, Ren.

'Things that are bigger than Ren: My entire European travel wardrobe,' she captioned the amusing picture, which sees her infant smiling next to the massive luggage.

Eva, who now works as the head of fashion partnerships at Instagram, is a favorite street style subject of photographers, so she has to have plenty of options for her travels.

Kristina Bazan, founder of the style blog Kayture, also jumped on the over-packing bandwagon, sharing a photo of her giving a peace sign as she posed near not one but two full baggage carts.

'Milan, see you in a few days! Off to London for Fashion Week,' the 21-year-old wrote under the shot, in which she wears a casual outfit of white skinny jeans and a black blazer.

Giovanna Battaglia, stylist and editor of Vogue Japan, posted a photo of her enormous luggage as she flew to Europe for Fashion Week festivities.

The 35-year-old wore a chic gold pleated skirt and army green button-down in the picture, showing that she remains ultra-fashionable even when she's schlepping her bags through the airport.

But it's not only the ladies who are traveling with massive amounts of baggage.

Fashion blogger Bryan Boy, 34, posed in front of four overstuffed bags as he traveled from New York to London last week.

'And just like that, done with NYFW! Off to London!' he captioned the snap, which sees him wearing shorts with the United Kingdom's flag printed on them.
