Spark Sessions, Canada's First Conference for Style Influencers, Goes 'Beyond The Blog' in One-Day Interactive Event


On November 7, 2015, Spark Sessions, Canada's first conference for style influencers will engage some of the country's top digital style media in an interactive discussion on the changing landscape of online influence. Themed 'Beyond The Blog: An Outlook on Social Influence,' the conference will be held on Saturday, November 7th at St. James Cathedral Centre in Toronto. Attendees can expect an interactive day of learning and connecting with a well-qualified roster of Canada's online media, digital influencers and PR experts.

"This third edition of Spark Sessions is about expanding beyond the blog and leveraging the growing social platforms that are defining digital influence today," says Marissa Anwar, co-founder of Spark Sessions. "This conference will let influencers and brand representatives see the value of social media and provide strategies and insights on how to leverage tools like Periscope, Pinterest, and Instagram."

Founded in 2013, Spark Sessions has been a staple event in the Canadian style influencer community. Last year, the number of attendees nearly tripled, growing from 100 bloggers in 2013 to over 250 bloggers in 2014. Co-founders Marissa Anwar and Anjali Handa are capping 'Beyond the Blog' at attendance at 100 to provide a more intimate conference and preparing for a larger event in Spring 2016.
